MACKENZIE

    The friendships I have made 
  • Have you ever received any medals/recognition in this sport?
    Lettering the past 3 years 
  • How has playing this sport affected you for your future?
    It has taught me how to work with a group, to trust each other and build a bond that will last a lifetime. 
  • If you could play for any Pro team, who would you play for?
    Louisville 
  • Who is your role model? Who do you look up to?
    My mom, she has set the stepping stones for my life and showed me who I should be by always staying true to myself and doing what I believe is right. She has made me the person I am today. 
  • Who would win a battle between Spiderman and Batman?
    Spiderman
  • What do you like to do in your free time?
    Be outdoors, hanging with friends and family, and sleeping. 
  • If you were any animal what animal would you be? Why?
    I would be an elephant. They are strong, loyal, and unstoppable. 
  • What are your plans after you graduate?
    I plan to become a elementary school teacher and sculpt the minds of young children! 
  • As you are completing your senior year of high school, is there anything you would like to tell your parent(s)/guardian(s) about the impact they have had on you?
    I would like to thank my parents for doing anything for me, and helping me become the person who I am today. I wouldn’t be as strong willed and determined. 
  • Tell me about the accomplishment you are most proud of (can be related or unrelated to the sport/team)...
    I am most proud of my academics, because I work hard to get all A’s in order to have a successful college life and career later in life. I work hard now, so it can be easier later.

    The time when our senior last year (Laura Higdon) tripped over a chair and landed in a face full of pizza

    It has taught me leadership and teamwork

    Team U.S.A
  • Who is your role model? Who do you look up to?
    My mom
  • Who would win a battle between Spiderman and Batman?
    Batman

    Dirt track racing

    A dog because I love dogs

    To go to ECTC

    making life long friends

    it’s taught me the value of teamwork

    play instruments and hangout with my family

    horses because i’ve grown up around them

    I’d like to thank my Mom for always being my number one supporter and hauling me around to band, volleyball, and ffa. I know my dad couldn’t always come to everything but I’m still so grateful for all he has done and always asking me how I did when I got home. I’d also like to thank my mamaw for taking me to and from my practices and always getting me food!
  • Tell me about the accomplishment you are most proud of (can be related or unrelated to the sport/team)...
    My biggest accomplishment was when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior

    Softball

    7 years
  • What if your fondest memory of playing this sport?
    Improving and surprising myself through the seasons
  • Are you looking to play in college or in the future?
    Yes
  • How has playing this sport affected you for your future?
    I’ve met some of my best friends from this sport and it’s made me want to be a collegiate athlete
  • If you could play for any Pro team, who would you play for?
    University of Kentucky 
  • Who is your role model? Who do you look up to?
    I look up to my teammates, they push me to be the best version of myself

    Spiderman

    Hangout with my friends and practice sports

    Lion, they are powerful

    Attend college and become a nurse practitioner 
  • As you are completing your senior year of high school, is there anything you would like to tell your parent(s)/guardian(s) about the impact they have had on you?
    They’ve all pushed me to be the person I am today and I’m extremely thankful for each person that has played a role in my life

    Being a hard worker and achieving my goal of all regional tournament team in softball 2 years in a row

    Since 7th grade, about 6 years
  • What if your fondest memory of playing this sport?
    the adrenaline rush before games and being goofy with my friends 
  • Are you looking to play in college or in the future?
    I haven’t fully decided yet, but most likely not
  • How has playing this sport affected you for your future?
    It has brought me multiple new friendships that I am thankful for and has shown me how to work together as a team to achieve a common goal

    My mother

    Thank you for both believing in me even whenever I didn’t believe in myself, I am so thankful for such supportive parents
