Plan on being at your session for about 20-30 minutes.  During your time, we will photograph, choose the directory image, and order the printed portraits that you love most!

If you are a generational family e.g. Grandparents, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, I will gladly take some larger, generational portraits in addition to your individual family portraits. If you would like some generational family portraits, please contact me so that I can help you choose the best number of time slots to sign up for.  You can call me at the studio during regular business hours (M-F 9 am -5 pm) at 270-200-4159 Or you can email me at:  [email protected]

WHAT TO WEAR

The backdrop we are using for these portraits is in the image below:

FMTaylorE-01 It photographs beautifully and provides a timeless look for your portraits.  In order to ensure that your portraits have the best look please follow the below guidelines when choosing clothing:

  • Solid darker colors will look best
  • Lighter colors can also work, but will have more contrast against the dark background
  • For each family member choose all darker shades of clothing, or all lighter shades of clothing.  Both can be mixed in with some mid-range tones
  • Coordinating shades are best.  It is not necessary to be "matchy-matchy" with your clothing choices, just be sure that all clothing colors coordinate for the best look
  • Layers are always a great choice
  • For the most flattering look, choose a darker color and long sleeves or mid-length sleeves
  • Don't forget your favorite accessories - simple jewelry, a tie, vest, jacket, fedora hat, etc

I have created a pinterest board with clothing color options to help you decide what to wear!  Find the board here:  https://pin.it/5LnraV6
